Brazilian artist Nele Azevedo, Berlin, Germany 1,000 ice sculptures melted under the Berlin sun as symbols of the effects of climate change, drawing attention to a new WWF report on risks of Arctic warming.

A portion of nuts that squirrels bury for winter never get recovered. If they did, there would be no nuts to bring up the next generation trees and woods. Maybe this is where  humans sometimes go wrong. Is it always about efficiency? Claims are made that we can be more sustainable if we are more efficient, maybe there is some truth in this but it might not be the only or the best game in town.

Will Self potentially takes it to a new level


Back in 2004, a flip on skis gone tragically wrong broke Josh Dueck’s back and left him as a T11 – full paraplegic. For the past 8 years one of his dreams has been to do a flip on snow again. On February 3, 2012, Josh became the first person to perform a backflip on snow in a Sit Ski!
